According to the General Data Protection Regulation, we must inform you about a number of details in our processing of your information and your rights.

    CITIZEN SERVICE (BORGERSERVICE), THE CITY OF AARHUS, IS THE DATA CONTROLLER IN PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

    We process the following personal data: name, email address as well as additional data provided when signing up for Aarhus City Welcome. The data is needed to sign up for this year's  Aarhus City Welcome and is only used for statistical purposes.

    Our processing of personal data is made on the basis of:

    Article 6(1)(a) – the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.

    The information is processed and stored securely at our suppliers.

    The information which we process about you will be deleted if your account has been inactive for 3 years. 

    The consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time, but without changing the legality of the processing that may already have been carried out.

    You have a right to request access to the information that we have about you. You also have a right to request rectification or deletion of information, and you may also request restriction of the processing of the information. However, you should be aware that we as part of the City of Aarhus, Denmark, are obliged to keep the information we have about you until the above mentioned deadline for deletion has been met.
