Get inspired at Aarhus City Welcome 2026 by a series of engaging talks from speakers who share insights, experiences, and ideas about life, work, and opportunities in Aarhus and Denmark.

LIVING LIBRARIES

Often the best advice comes from someone who's been in your shoes.

Have a one-on-one talk to a fellow experienced international about living your best life in Aarhus!

To give as many as possible the chance to meet their chosen Living Books, please allow around 10 minutes per conversation.

These “living books” are happy to talk to you about everything from building a social life, settling into everyday life or being an accompanying partner.

Living Library - Job Chapters

These “living books” are happy to share their experiences of finding a job, navigating Danish workplace culture, and achieving work–life balance.

CREATIVE SPACE

Try your hand at traditional Danish holiday crafts!

Cut, glue and decorate ornaments for Easter, Christmas and Fastelavn, the Danish Carnival tradition, while learning more about the festive customs linked to each celebration.

And share a beloved, quirky or fun tradition from your home country.

A cosy, hands-on activity for all ages!

TREASURE HUNT - win great prizes!

Ready to go letter hunting?

Visit selected exhibitors at the Information Bazaar, collect letters, and put them together to create the correct sentence. Complete the challenge for a chance to win great prizes from Aarhus’ cultural scene.
