After-school care (SFO)
All public municipal schools offer after-school care (SFO) for children in grades 0 to 3 (ages 6 to 9).
After-school care is provided for all children in grades 0 to 3 in ordinary municipal schools. In Danish, after-school care is called 'skolefritidsordning' or in short SFO.

How to register your child for after-school care (SFO)
All children from grades 0 to 3 (ages 6 to 9) are guaranteed after-school care (SFO). You enrol your child in an SFO online using the self-service solution Digital Placement (Digital Pladsanvisning). For children in the 4th grade, it's possible to attend SFO in the morning.
