How will my child get dental care during the school years?

You will still be accompanying your child to their dental appointments in their early school years.

How we work together with you and your school child on dental care:

    • In the early school years, you will still accompany your child to dental check-ups
    • Your child is taught how to help keep his or her teeth healthy.
    • Your child receives dental treatment as needed, and as agreed with you.

During the early school years, we still work closely with you to keep your child’s teeth healthy.

Your child will also gradually learn more about taking care of his or her teeth during school time. These lessons can take place in class or at the dental clinic.

You will receive info in AULA (the online platform for communication between public schools, SFO, daycare institutions, and parents) when your child’s class has been given these lessons.

Should my child have his or her teeth straightened?

Your child will have his or her tooth alignment checked at each dental check-up. We will talk to you further if there is something about your child’s tooth alignment that requires attention.
