Dental care (tandpleje) for children and young people (0-21 years of age)

You can get free dental care for your child from birth when your child has a CPR number.

    Your child will receive free dental check-ups, advice on dental care, and treatment until he or she turns 18. If your child is born in 2004 or later, he or she will receive dental care until turning 22.

    You can get free dental care for your child from birth.

    How will my child get dental care during the school years?

    You will still be accompanying your child to their dental appointments in their early school years.

    Dental care from when your child is 16 years of age

    You get free dental check-ups, advice on dental care, and treatment until your 22nd birthday. If you are born in 2003 earlier, you will receive free dental care until you turn 18.

    Should my child have his or her teeth straightened?

    Your child's tooth alignment will be checked at each dental check-up. If there is something about your child’s tooth alignment that requires attention, we will discuss it with you.

    Dental care for children with a physical and/or mental handicap

    Children with special needs can get dental care at our dental clinic at Stensagerskolen. The staff is specialised in meeting children and youngsters with special needs. You need a reference from your local dental clinic.
