Help to get started
Several offers will help you get ready for a youth education or employment. If you are under 25 and without a youth education, offers are available that aim to prepare you to complete a youth education or enter employment.
Preparatory Basic Education (FGU)
Preparatory Basic Education - Forberedende Grunduddannelse (FGU) - is for young people who have completed primary and lower secondary school (folkeskolen), are under 25 years old, and where a course at FGU is assessed to prepare the young person to start a youth education or enter employment.
Youth education with special needs (STU)
STU (særligt tilrettelagt ungdomsuddannelse) is a three-year youth education for young people with special needs. The education is in Danish.
