What brought me to Aarhus: Denmark is one of the leading countries in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, so I wanted to have an international experience where ‘everything happens'. I came to Aarhus because my partner secured a job here.

What brought me to Aarhus: I accompanied my spouse to Denmark in 2014 and moved from Copenhagen to Aarhus as I received an opportunity to do research as a PhD at Aarhus University.
How I found my job: I wrote an unsolicited application to Aarhus University for a position, pursued it for six months; this finally resulted in a fully sponsored PhD and employment. Later, I started my own consultancy.

What brought me to Aarhus: My husband is Danish. We lived in London but after our children were born we wanted to be closer to friends and family.
How I found my job: When I came to Aarhus and started looking for a job I read all I could about the Danish job market and came across the International Employment Unit – Aarhus Municipality’s support to international job seekers. I received help with my applications and after 5 applications nailed my first interview!
