Youth school (ungdomsskole)
As a young person in Aarhus (grade 7 up to and including the age of 17) you can join various classes to pursue whatever interests you together with other young people.
Robots or hip-hop? Mountain biking or diving? German or maths? Action or adventure? Sport or singing? Youth school has classes for all tastes. You can immerse yourself in your interests and improve your physical, academic, social and other skills. And you can attend classes anywhere in Aarhus.
Youth school is your opportunity to get together with other young people outside your ordinary school to do exciting activities, immerse yourself in your interests and favourite subjects, make friendships, experience the world and generally have fun.
At youth school, you will meet teachers who are passionate about the same things as you and who can inspire you to make the most of your interests, for example when choosing educational programmes or jobs.
You can enrol for a youth school class at any time of the year.
Attendance is free, but some classes require payment. The description of the particular class will always state whether a payment is required.
