Food and meals at your child's daycare institution
Children attending a childminder (dagpleje), day nursery, and kindergarten are offered a healthy meal for lunch on a daily basis.
You can vote on the lunch scheme
Every two years, parents can vote either for or against lunch schemes at the child's daycare institution. The parental board at daycare institutions with only one department decides whether there should be a lunch scheme or not.
Food schemes arranged by parents
As a parent, you can arrange for a food scheme yourselves in the institution. However, children are free to participate in the food scheme, or not.
