If you have more than one child in daycare, you automatically get a grant for siblings. You pay the full price for the most expensive place and half the price for the other places.

Siblings are children of the same household with the same officially registered address, but not children in care.

No grant for siblings is given to children and young persons in a club.

The grant for siblings is automatically deducted in the monthly payment.

If your child is cared for in public day-care facilities in the City of Aarhus, we automatically reduce your payment on the first day of the month after your child has reached the age of three. That also applies if your child is moved to a kindergarten at an earlier age. The price for daycare is not changed.

If you move from the municipality of Aarhus and want to keep your child’s place in the municipality of Aarhus, you must immediately contact Pladsanvisningen in the City of Aarhus. We will ask your new municipality of residence to send proof of the grant.

The monthly collection will depend on the amount of grants from your new municipality of residence.
