Aarhus Culture Day 2024

Experience Aarhus with other newcomers, meet new friends, and discover your new city!

Kulturkammerater / Culture Buddies invites you to join a unique day of culture in Aarhus. Where will you go - Aros, Moesgaard Museum, the Occupation Museum or elsewhere? That’s a surprise, but we promise it’s going to be great. You're welcome to join whether you're entirely new to the city, but also if you're not a complete newcomer. 

We’ll meet up for a brief introduction and a cup of coffee/tea at Dokk1. Here, all participants will be divided into groups. Each group will be sent on a guided tour at a cultural location in the city.

• The trip ends at the cultural venue if it is in the city centre.
• Some of the activities will be outdoors, so please bring clothes according to the weather.
• Aarhus Culture Day is for all age groups.
• If there are English speakers in the group, the guided tour will be in English.
• Most groups depart by foot. If you have a walking impairment, please let us know when you sign up or choose a disability ticket.
• The different activities will vary from one to three hours, so please take the afternoon off for this event.

Aarhus Culture Day 2024 only costs 20 DKK. Children and young people under the age of 16 can attend for free. The number of tickets available is limited, so make sure to purchase your ticket right away.

If you have signed up but cannot attend, you can cancel via the link in your booking confirmation email. The payment will then be refunded to you.
