Free time clubs (fritidsklub)
Free-time clubs are for all children in grades 4 to 6 (approximately ages 10 to 14). Most free-time clubs are usually open on weekdays after school hours, so your child can attend the club when they have finished at school.
At a free-time club, your child is in the care of adults who are qualified in childcare and who will create a safe environment for them to try new things and to socialise with other children. Your child can participate in different sports, e-sport, cooking and many other activities, join various groups and spend time with friends.
As a parent you have co-influence on your child's everyday life in the free-time club. You are always welcome to talk to the club's staff or the leader of the club about how your child's well-being or if you would like to share your opinion on something concerning the free-time club.
